3179 Washington Rd. (Rt. 220), Waldoboro, ME
Coastal Route: Take Rt. 1 to Waldoboro to intersection with Rt. 220 at Moody’s Diner.
(From the south, this is the second light, turn left. From the north, this is the 1st light, turn right.)
On North 220, go 6.2 miles to our driveway which is on the right. Double mailboxes before the driveway with #3179, flower box, American flags & pink and orange surveyors tape. Turn right into driveway (see below for Parking)
From Route 17: Take Rt. 17 (east from Augusta or west from Rockland) to its intersection with Rt. 220. Turn onto 220 heading south. Go approx. 4 miles, slow down when you see a pair of white house trailers on the right side of the road, our driveway is just 2/10 mi. past these trailers. Driveway is on the left, double mailboxes on other side of the driveway, you will see #3181. Mailboxes decorated as described above. (see below for Parking).
Parking: Once on driveway, go 1/10 mi., the driveway splits. Take right-hand fork (there is a sign for Eckelbarger). Proceed to trailer parking field on the right side of the driveway, across from a large sand arena. Pull into the field just after the “Trailer Parking Sign” & loop around so that you are facing out toward the driveway.
Please park so as to leave room for other trailers…. it is a small field! (If not enough room when you arrive, continue a little way down the driveway to my barn where you can turn around. Head back out the driveway & park in the grassy area at the top of the sand arena, (or any where you find space).
Unload & tack-up at your trailer. Ride/walk down the driveway, past the horse barn (with blue doors) & down the hill to the jumping field on the shore of the lake.
There is a hose just inside the back door of the barn w/ hot & cold water. Please turn off water at the faucet after use. Close doors down if raining.
Sorry, there is no port-a-potty or bathroom at the barn. Use your trailers, woods or come down to the house. Bathroom is just inside the door.
