MeCTA Young Riders Clinic 2008
July 12th and 13th, 2008, Hyl-Tun Farm, Starks
Opening Date:  May 1          Closing Date: June 16
            The Young Riders Clinic is a 2-day experience for MeCTA members, 21 years or younger, who are interested in getting more experience in eventing. The clinic offers two mounted lessons each day with a lecture on Saturday.
Mounted lessons include dressage, stadium jumping and cross country jumping.

Instructors will be Debbie Place (Training/Novice), Anna Welch (Novice/Beginner Novice) and Sandy Porter Bean (Elementary/Beginner Novice).

The clinic will be at Hyl-Tun Farm in Starks (20 miles west of I-95, Waterville exit).
Cost is $110 per participant (includes 4 meals). Add on $20 weekend stabling fee (includes Friday and Saturday nights), if you want a stall.

Make checks payable to MeCTA
Include a copy of a negative Coggins test (within 12 months)*
and a copy of a current rabies certificate and proof of rhino vaccinations.*

Young Riders Clinic scholarships available  - to apply send letter introductingyourself and explaining why you would like the scholarship, and letter ofrecommendation from your instructor/trainer. If you are granted thescholarship, you will be asked to write an article about the clinic for theHorse's Maine and to volunteer at a MeCTA event.
