Young Riders Clinic scholarships available  - to apply send letter introductingyourself and explaining why you would like the scholarship, and letter ofrecommendation from your instructor/trainer. If you are granted thescholarship, you will be asked to write an article about the clinic for theHorse's Maine and to volunteer at a MeCTA event.

The Young Riders Clinic is a two-day experience for MeCTA members, 21 years or younger, who are interested in in-depth instruction in eventing. The clinic offers two mounted lessons each day (Saturday and Sunday) with a lecture on Saturday. Elementary through Training level instruction in group lessons covering flat work, stadium and cross country jumping.
Instructors will be Debbie Place, Caitlin Donahue, and Sandy Porter-Bean.
The clinic will be at Hyl-Tun Farm in Starks (20 miles west of Waterville).
Cost is $110 per participant (includes 4 meals).
Add on $20 weekend stabling fee (includes Friday&Saturday nights), if you want a stall.
