Divisions:  Saturday –Training, Training/Novice, Novice Sr + Jr
                 Sunday -  Novice Sr + Jr, Novice/Beginner Novice, Beginner Novice Jr + Sr

*Note:  For mixed/hybrid divisions, ,T/N, N/BN, ride the higher level dressage and show jumping tests and ride the lower division XC round.  Year end points counted toward the lower division. Novice/Beginner Novice do not need to be  USEA members but do pay USEA non-member fee.

Entry: All divisions - $140.00  (MeCTA Members, $125.00)
Fees:  USEA Fees:  All Divisions - $20.00.   Competitors in BN or N/BN who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 non-member fee with entry.
Stabling:  $35.00.  Separate check
Stall Cleaning/Damage Deposit:  $25.00  Separate check.  Destroyed if stall left clean.
Entries after Closing Date accepted at discretion of event management.

1) Entries:  Entry fee includes non-refundable $25 office fee.  Make sure entry is complete with all required fees, Coggins, stabling, etc. Have a question? Call or email. Shelia or Peggy, we know the forms can appear confusing. Incomplete entries assessed a $10 fee.  Change of horse or rider assessed a $10 fee; must submit new entry form. Divisions may be divided/combined as entries warrant. State preferences under the Eligibility Section. Negative Coggins required within 12 months for in-state horses and 6 months for out of state horses. Send copy with entry.
Refunds:  Before Closing Date – full entry fee minus $25 non-refundable office fee.  After Closing Date – Only with vet or doctor note entry fee minus $25 office fee.
Stabling Refund – no refund after JULY 30, 2012 unless stall can be filled. 
Competition cancellation –Refund of USEA fees.

2)  Tentative Time Schedule:
Friday:  XC opens at 3 pm for course walk
Sat/Sun:  Dressage-8am; Show-jumping-10:30am; XC-2pm
3)  Awards:  Trophy & 8 placings per division.  Daily Pony Club Award sponsored by Clay Brook Farm.  Danny Trophy & Figure Trophy.  USEA Area 1 Adult Rider  Awards See MeCTA Omnibus or Website for details.  
4) Starting Times:  Available on MeCTA website, www.eventing-maine.org and on the USEA Area 1 website, www.area1usea.com. 
5) Stabling:  Please include USEA Stabling form, separate stabling and deposit checks.  $35/stall/night, separate check.  $25 separate deposit check , check destroyed if stall is left clean.  Permanent stabling at varying nearby locations.  Stall doors, initial bedding provided. Send SASE with entry or check website for stabling. No stabling or camping at show grounds.

8)  Directions:  Address:  450 Lawrence Rd., Pownal, ME  04069
From I-295:  Exit 22/Freeport.  At end of exit ramp: From North turn Left, from South turn Right    Proceed slowly.   When road begins to curve to the right, take sharp Left, following signs towards Snowfields and Bradbury Mountain State Park.  Go 4.5 miles to blinking light.  Go straight for 1.2 miles to the first cross road, turning right onto Lawrence Road. Snowfields is ½ mile on the left.
9)  Dressage:  Two small sand arenas.  All Tests are 2010 USEF Dressage Tests for Eventing.           Training:  2010 USEF Training B

10)Show Jumping:  Mostly flat grassy area next to upper pond.
11) Cross-Country:  Terrain consists of hilly fields, ditches, banks and water. Training-2200m @ 450mpm, average difficulty, includes terrain and accuracy questions- coffin, corner, etc.  Novice – 2000m @ 350mpm, average difficulty includes drop, lighting and rider questions. Beginner Novice-1600m @ 325mpm, above average difficulty, broad variety of fences – coop, roll top,  barrels,  brush, bench, logs, stonewall Wonderful spectator friendly course!
12)  Other Information:  Cross-Country Course Closed as of  July 15, 8 pm. For permission to school cross-country, must call Patsy O'Brien, 207-688-4748 or email at dobrien@maine.rr.com. 
Water and food on the grounds.  Dogs must be leashed at ALL times.  Volunteers welcomed and encouraged!
Lost XC Pinney Fee: $25 fee assessed if piney not returned

This is a USEA event and the USEA entry form is the only accepted entry form and must be used for all divisions.
