Danny Trophy - This trophy is a wonderful sculpture of a horse in a powerful trot, created by Rockland artist, Nina Scott-Hansen. The trophy was named for Patsy O’Brien’s great Welsh Cob gelding, Gwyn Saethydd y Penrhym, known to his friends as Danny, and is awarded to the best-scoring over age 40 MeCTA rider at Snowfields Horse Trials. The winner keeps this engraved bronze for a year.
Figure Trophy - Sponsored by Barbara Giroux and Warren Smith along with The Horse’s Maine, this lovely trophy was inspired by Barbara’s favorite school horses. This trophy is another creation from Nina Scott-Hansen of Rockland and is awarded to the best scoring MeCTA rider 21 years and younger.
ClayBrook Farm Pony Club Award - This award is sponsored by Vicki Varney of Clay Brook Farm in Turner, Maine and is awarded each day of Snowfields HT to the best scoring current pony club member.
Danny TrophyAwarded to the best scoring MeCTA member over the age of 40.
