April 26, 2008 (Sat) EVENTING 101 = THE BASICS
- Designed for those new to eventing or folks who want a refresher course on competing, this clinic will provide basic information on how to prepare for and compete in an Event. Instruction will include how to 1) ride and refine a dressage test, 2) walk a stadium and cross-country course, and 3) ride those courses. You'll also learn how to fill out that all-important entry form.

- Cost: $50 per participant

- A 2-day learning opportunity for MeCTA members 21 years and younger who are interested in getting more experience in eventing, Elementary through Training.
- Costs: $110 for the clinic (inlcudes 4 meals). Add $20 for weekend stabling if desired.

July 26&27, 2008 (Sat&Sun) Adult Riders Clinic (A.K.A. Fabulous Fossils Over Fences)
- Opening date: May 1 Closing date: July 1
- Modeled after the very popular Young Riders Clinic, the Adult Riders Clinic is a 2-day offering for riders over 21 who are interested in getting more experience in eventing. The clinic offers two mounted lessons each day (Saturday and Sunday) and a lecture on Saturday evening. Lessons include dressage, stadium jumping, and cross-country jumping. Groups limited to 5-6 riders.
- Instructor: Debbie Place & an assistant TBA (see clinician bios, above)
- Cost: $200 per participant, includes weekend stabling.
(Please come Friday night to get settled in and socialize before the clinic starts Saturday morning!)
- Location: Hyl-Tun Farm, Starks (just 20 miles west of I-95 Waterville exit)

August 1-3, 2008 Clinic with Caroline Atherholt-Dowd @ Whispering Pines, Newburgh
- Flat, Jumping, and XC

- Cost: $100 /group lesson; Limited stabling and overnight camping available (book early)
- Location: Whispering Pines, Newburgh. (find directions here> WPF)

Whispering Pines is located in Newburgh on 130 acres of rolling hills and fields.

New and inviting fences from Elementary – Training, including water crossing, steps,

roll tops and more. The grounds are perfectly mowed, slightly rolling at times, some wood

trails, wide open spaces. A full size sand dressage arena, and new this year a sand

stadium arena, with outside speaker system. Lessons can be heard by all. Farrier on site.

- Cost: Riders - $200 for both days, includes lunch.

Auditors - $55 for both days $30 for one day if pre-registered;
