We have important information regarding the banquet!
It will be January 27 at Governor’s in Waterville at 5:30 pm. Food will be served at 6 pm. There will be two entrees available - chicken and vegetarian lasagna. We will be having a short meeting and awards, and a board for 2018 event dates will be available. There will also be a silent auction for which donations are needed; all proceeds will benefit MeCTA. There will be a table set up to renew membership for 2018 (note that there is an increase in cost this year: $30 individual and $40 family). The cost of a meal will be $15 for 2018 MeCTA members and $17 for nonmembers. Renewing your membership at or before the banquet will save you $2!
Please RSVP by January 20 to Rikki Babcock either on Facebook, by call/text at 207-735-3374, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Contact Janet Calder Schlenker regarding donations for the silent auction.
Also, please note that we will only be accepting cash or check at the banquet, and separate checks will be required for the meal, membership, and for any silent auction purchases that may be made.
The ballot for the 2018 Election of Officers and Delegates at large can be found here.
Voting can be done in person at the award ceremony January 27 or ballots can be sent by mail before January 27. More details can be found through the link.

There are two MeCTA fundraisers coming up in June!
June 4th there will be a XC schooling clinic with instructor Mary O'Rourke at Acorn Farm in Carmel. Mary is very graciously donating her services so all proceeds from the day will be going to MeCTA. This is a great opportunity to not only support our club but also get some great instruction in on a fun course before the Carmel Horse Trials. Call Kris at 848-5310 to sign up. The second fundraiser will be a tack sale at Peppergrass Farm during their event camp June 27-29. The items in the tack sale will be donation so any money raised will go towards MeCTA. Donations can be dropped off at Peppergrass!
Update on the Mary O'Rourke benefit clinic:
The clinic was a huge, fun success and $480 was raised all for MeCTA!
Update on the tack sale at Peppergrass Farm:
The tack sale was also a huge success, raising $520 to date with more coming in!
